New GTA V Details Unveiled by Famitsu

A few features of the upcoming Grand Theft Auto V have been detailed by the popular Japanese publication “Famitsu”.

To start: it has been announced that players will have the ability to customize the accessories that Franklin’s dog “Chop” wears. In addition to that, Chop will have the ability to run away, so you’d best keep an eye on him. Also — taking a cue from Red Dead Redemption — GTAV will feature hunting. And according to Famitsu’s reports: there will be more than 15 animals in the game’s world.

A more technical announcement — each individual character will have a sort of unique walk-cycle. This is a particularly interesting announcement, as it will surely add to the realism of the world, and will making busy streets look less robotic. There will also be at least one underwater mission that Trevor and Michael will travel to by way of jet skis.

Lastly, it was announced that the game will release in Japan on October 10 of this year.

Grand Theft Auto V will be released to the rest of the world on September 17.
