Ragnarok Odyssey ACE Won’t Release in the West Until 2014

While Ragnarok Odyssey ACE has already released in Japan, it won’t be hitting the west until 2014. Despite this rather bad news for fans, XSeed had some good news too.

For starters, Ragnarok Odyssey ACE will have a MSRP of $39.99 on either platform. In addition to that, Vita users will also receive an OST with 25 tracks. This can make selecting your platform difficult, but keep in mind the game does support cross-play.

Besides announcing the price, XSeed also detailed some of the changes in Ragnarok Odyssey ACE. These include the ability to import your character, though this will be limited to appearance, voice, job class and cards (cards equipped to clothing or obtained via near will not transfer). Unfortunately story progress will not transfer, since some new content was added to the campaign. Among them is the Tower of Yggdrasil, which is a 100 floor dungeon. Finally, Ragnarok Odyssey ACE will have a new trophy list (forms a cool image if you get them all) and previously download DLC will also work.

Those interested should be able to preorder it on Monday, so make sure to act fast if you want the OST!
