After being with GOG from the beginning, Fallout 1, 2 and Tactics have been removed from their DRM-Free catalog. This shouldn’t come as a big surprise, since they hinted at this when they gave them away during the winter sale and was most likely due to the license changing hands. Considering the series popularity, we will probably see these games come back in the near future.
While this is sad news for GOG, it isn’t that bad for gamers. Steam is still selling the bundle for $4.99, though it’s impossible to say when or if they will remove the listing. Also if you got the game from GOG in the past, you can still download the install files and extra content from GOG directly. In addition to that, purchased gift-codes will be valid for the foreseeable future, though codes from their recent giveaway are dead.
