Sony’s PlayStation 4 Virtual Reality Headset Coming to GDC

The PlayStation 4 virtual reality headset is coming to GDC in March according to TechRadar’s “inside source.” The Oculus Rift-like device, which was supposed to make an appearance at Gamescom last year, was instead delayed so that Sony could prepare it for an official unveiling.

“People will definitely be impressed with what Sony’s built,” said the source to TechRadar. “Sony has deliberately taken its time to tweak and polish the headset before revealing it.” The headset is intended for gaming purposes, and will work in conjunction with the PlayStation 4 console.

A source revealed to Hardcore Gamer that several games in Sony’s lineup are being developed with the VR headset in mind, including Driveclub.
