Costume DLC Revealed for Hyrule Warriors

Today’s Hyrule Warriors Nintendo Direct ended with a flourish as four DLC costume sets were announced for the upcoming Wii U game. The first three, inspired by previous Legend of Zelda titles Ocarina of Time, Twilight Princess, and Skyward Sword respectively, were shown to include new skins for the series’ main characters Link and Zelda. The video described the DLC sets as “pre-order bonuses available from select retailers”, though no further details were shared. However,  viewers were urged to keep their eyes peeled for more information as the game’s September 26 North American release date draws closer.

A special Club Nintendo DLC set was also revealed. Called the Demon King Costume Set, players who register Hyrule Warriors before October 23 2014 will receive special skins for Ganondorf styled after his appearances in Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess.

      • Well, I stand corrected! Still feels really weird. I did a double take recently when I noticed New Super Mario Bros 2 has DLC.
