The results for the first quarter of the fiscal year ending March 31, 2015 (April 2014 to June 30, 2014) have been released today for Bandai Namco. Metrics are surging across the board. Net sales have reached 122,504 yen, up 15.7% year-to year. Operating income is at 16,487 yen, up a whopping 26.2% year-to-year. Recurring income sits at 17,633 yen, up 21.% year to year. Net income is at 11,632 yen, up 22.3% year-to-year.
These numbers indicate a huge win for the Japanese publisher, who are coming off the success of Dark Souls II as well as One Piece: Unlimited World Red, Dyanasty Warriors: Gundam Reborn and the distribution of Grid Autosport.
For the rest of the fiscal year, Bandai Namco still has the releases of Digimon All-Star Rumble, MotoGP 14, Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures 2, Tales of Xilla 2 and more to look forward to.
