MangaGamer, a long time publisher of PC visual novels, has been having quite the year. They announced a smattering of games during Anime Expo in July but appear to have kept quiet on some titles. During their panel at Otakon 2014 MangaGamer announced four visual novels (with a possible fifth down the line).
The four games are as follows: The House in Fata Morgana, Euphoria, Chou Dengeki Stryker All Ages, and eden* – They were only two on the planet. The stories range from horror to action to erotic and a surprising amount are pegged for Steam release. In particular, all but Euphoria will be making their way to the popular digital storefront.
Interestingly, the company also stated that profits made of eden* (both all-ages and its adult version) will be used to fund a translation for Supipara – Alice the Magical Conductor. In Japan, Supipara failed to rally enough consumer attention. As such, if the game sells well enough once on Steam and MangaGamer’s website, Western fans will basically fund its missing chapters.
Chou Dengeki Stryker’s all ages edition has a release set for September. The rest don’t have dates yet but most will serve as treats to the visual novel community on Steam.
