Humble Sega Mobile Bundle Released

The Humble Mobile bundles are usually pretty good, but this is the best one to date. Sega’s back library has made for some excellent mobile gaming, and they usually make their games with controller support in mind. You can pay what you want for Sonic 4 Episode 1, ChuChu Rocket, and Virtua Tennis Challenge. In the case of Sonic 4 and Virtua Tennis Challenge, each of these games works perfectly sideloaded on the OUYA and the controller is recognized instantly. The base tier is definitely worth a few bucks, and beating the present average of about $4 gets you so much more.

That small amount of money will allow you to play Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing, Sonic 4 Episode II, and Crazy Taxi. For these games, only All-Stars Racing won’t work on the OUYA, but both Sonic 4 Episode II and Crazy Taxi will. Crazy Taxi’s audio did get really messed up with the latest firmware update through – so the restored Offspring and Bad Religion soundtrack is all messed up. For phones though, it will work just fine. There’s no word on which extra games will be unlocked, but either definitive version of Sonic 1, Sonic 2, or Sonic CD wouldn’t surprise me.
