Grim Fandango Remastered Launch Trailer Prepares You for Your Four Year Journey

It’s a day many though would never come, but Grim Fandango is finally returning to the gaming world after a 16 year hiatus. Thanks to its Calaca doll art style the original game is one of the few 3D titles from the 90s that still holds up to this day, but there’s always room for improvement, and this trailer highlights all the game’s improvements. Chief among them is dynamic lighting, which significantly enhance’s the game’s film noire atmosphere. Other additions include orchestrated music and new point-and-click controls – perhaps an odd choice for a game originally designed to break away from adventure conventions.
