‘Gears of War 4’ Developer Black Tusk Hires Epic’s Director of Cinematics

When it comes to making the next Gears of War, Black Tusk Studios is serious about it being Epic. Literally. Following the promotion of industry veteran Rod Fergusson to studio head, the developer has today hired Greg M. Mitchell. Mitchell has been employed as the Director of Cinematics for Epic for the past eight years, where he oversaw the direction and completion of all cinematics for Gears of War 2, Gears of War 3, Gears of War: Judgment, Unreal Tournament III, Bulletstorm and Shadow Complex.

Maybe the next Gears of War won’t be such a departure from the norm after all.
