RPG Maker 2003 Now Available on Steam

RPG Maker 2003 has been absent from Steam so far, but it got a surprise stealth release today. RPG Maker 2003 has finally been translated into English, and has a special weeklong sale. From April 24 through May 1, you can get the game for 15% off. This takes the $19.99 price tag down to only $16.99.

You can get the discounted version on Steam, where you can enjoy a large series of screenshots of menus. Why they didn’t show off more of the end result, I have no idea, but I guess it is an accurate way to show off a development engine.  At under $20, this is a good pickup for someone wanting to try their hand at RPG development.
