Mortal Kombat XL, Kombat Pack 2 are Not Coming to PC

Warner Bros. and NetherRealm Studios have revealed that Mortal Kombat XL and Kombat Pack 2 will not be coming to PC.

NetherRealm’s Community Specialist Tyler Lansdown confirmed the harsh news on the Test Your Might forums. “Mortal Kombat XL and Kombat Pack 2 will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One only.” As you can expect, PC users are not happy about the situation. This isn’t the first time PC players have been screwed over by Warner Bros. The scars over Batman: Arkham Knight’s horrendous PC port remain fresh on player’s minds. At least Warner Bros. and Rocksteady released all the DLC for that game on PC, though the game is still a mess on that platform.

Kombat Pack 2 contains four new fighters; Bo Rai Cho, Tri-Borg, Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Xenomorph from Alien. Mortal Kombat XL is the typical ‘Game of the Year Edition’ that compiles the main game and every piece of DLC into one package. Mortal Kombat XL is out March 1. Kombat Pack 2 does not have a release date, but since it comes with XL, its likely the DLC will drop the same day.

Ok…. filter is off. I have logged 85+ hours on the PC version. I will start off by saying it has been a buggy mess when it came out and was that way for about three months before most of it was ironed out. Even then it wasn’t even close to where it should have been and rushing out a patch that deleted people’s game saves was a disgusting move because again, you refused to TEST it before releasing it.

Now this. So in other words even though I bought it, played it, unlocked everything (something they charge for if you don’t’ want to play for hours on end) I am being told to buy it on another console and go through all that again or screw off? Start walking and while you are on your way, feel free to walk on broken glass and tacks. I will NEVER buy another one of your games again. This is it. If you feel that little appreciation and that little necessity to your paying customers to first deliver products that work and then to support them then you don’t deserve……..well really anybody’s money. Oh and the fact you outsourced them also does not matter. That was your choice. The moment you realized the problems you have an obligation to either cancel or delay the release. The fact that all this is coming with zero explanation makes this even worse. Seriously an explanation, and a good one, is required in these types of situations, not silence. You have half a million people to answer to and it is time to answer.

Thank god I never supported this game. With all the anime fighters, SF 4/5, and Smash, there isn’t any need for it to exist in my life.
