Next Final Fantasy XV Active Time Report to Feature Magic and Stealth, New Screenshots

Fans around the world are invited to tune in this Saturday (January 30) for the next installment of Final Fantasy XV’s Active Time Report, where director Hajime Tabata and global marketing director, Akio Ofuji, will outline key updates to the title.

Commencing at 8 p.m. PST, the English-subtitled program will expand on the warmongering Niflheim empire, and will showcase the latest battle footage and scenes of magic. The program will also provide updates to the upcoming March 2016 event.

And finally, newly released screenshots depict protagonist Noctis casting the iconic “Fire” spell, battling powerful Magitek Armor, conducting aerial strikes against enemies, and utilizing stealth to infiltrate enemy territory.

        I wish. but I suppose with action being real time this time around, stealth will be feasible. I just hope it isn’t game breaking in contrast to the combat.

    The plains kind of reminds me of FF12. Now I want a remake of 12! Or at least an HD remaster that includes post processing effects in it! Also I see that they added clothing and skin damage or stains on the characters.

    Eh.. don’t think its the best choice to put in things like stealth, just gives critics more things to complain about since they feel as though it should be a full fledged stealth game whenever a game decides to have an aspect of it.

      I think it’s just a simple tactic to avoid fights on occasion. Kind of neat, but I can’t imagine it’ll be too complex.
