Dead Rising 4 Might be Announced at E3 2016

If some leaked marketing materials are to be believed, Dead Rising 4 is real and should be announced at E3 2016.

Rumors of a new Dead Rising game have been circulating for a while, but some new marketing materials suggest that rumor may become truth. Images for Dead Rising 4 have popped up at ThisGenGaming, showcasing a poster for the game, a loading screen, and what appears to be an in-game screenshot. Fans will be excited to hear that original Dead Rising protagonist, Frank West, will be the main protagonist. All of this info was corroborated by Kotaku.

ThisGenGaming also suggests that Dead Rising 4 will be a complete remake of Dead Rising, taking place in Willamette, Colorado. The big difference is that the game will take place during Christmas. Dead Rising 4 will also feature a co-op component allowing four friends to play together. Sorry PS4 players, it looks like Dead Rising 4, like Dead Rising 3, will be a Xbox One console-exclusive. The game will also launch on Windows 10, but not Steam.

Take all this with a grain of salt until Capcom, Capcom Vancouver, and Microsoft make an announcement. However, we won’t have to wait that long to hear whether this is real or not. E3 2016 is right around the corner, and the rumor suggests Dead Rising 4 will be revealed at Microsoft’s E3 2016 press conference. That will take place Monday, June 13 at 9:30am PST.
