Cyberpunk Bartender Simulator VA-11 Hall-A to be Released on June 21

We’ve played through countless post-dystopian cyberpunk games from many different viewpoints and angles before, but have you ever wondered what it would be like to run a bar in one of these worlds? More than likely, you haven’t thought about that, but damned if that’s going to stop developer Sukeban Games from serving up that scenario when their game VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action is released on June 21, as announced in the trailer below.

Taking place in the titular VA-11 Hall-A, also known as simply “Valhalla,” you play the role of the bartender who pours drinks for the other various inhabitants of this anime cyberpunk world (cheekily referred to by the devs as “waifu bartending”), with the spirits you offer them providing the opportunity to listen to their various stories, as well as craft new ones via branching gameplay. Clearly taking inspiration from old-school Japanese PC adventure games, VA-11 Hall-A sure looks great and has quite a unique hook to it, so we’ll be sure to try and wet our whistles with it when it comes out on the PC later this month.
