Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime, the cooperative relationship-testing simulator from Toronto’s Asteroid Base Studios, is receiving a major free update today across all platforms. According to Asteroid Base, players will now be able to enjoy three and four player co-op action, literally doubling the amount of fun and potential chaotic arguments in your living room.
In case you’re unfamiliar with one of last year’s best multiplayer experiences, Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime tasks players with working together to pilot a massive spacecraft across a procedurally generated space environment, with the goal being to collect as many cute creatures as possible. The catch is that each ship can only be controlled by platforming around the sections inside of it, eventually accessing different terminals that each control different functions of the ship. What makes Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime such a wonderful cooperative title is that there are only so many actions that you can complete at once, as the sheer amount of terminals greatly outnumbers the amount of players.
