‘One Way Trip’ Gets Release Date, Launch Trailer

Originally targeted for a 2015 release, One Way Trip is a psychedelic RPG about the player character and their brother Barry. Created by indie developer Beret, the game follows the final six hours of the Player’s and Barry’s lives after they consumed purposely contaminated water. For better or for worse, the same poisoned water also makes people hallucinate. This means the entire game is presented as a surreal journey about life and being a good person. Primarily featuring one half battle and dungeon-crawling, with one half player choice and conversation, One Way Trip may intrigue people looking for something a little different. The game has an original hip hop soundtrack and changes based on player decisions.
