PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Free This Week

Beginning today in North America (February 22 in Europe), Sony’s PlayStation Plus online service will be free for all users, meaning everyone will be able to play multiplayer games online free of charge until February 23 (February 26 in Europe). This does not however apply to the monthly PlayStation Plus game benefits, as you are not able to download this months PlayStation Plus titles via this promotion.

Just yesterday, Microsoft also launched a free weekend for it’s Xbox Live service, meaning that everybody with an Xbox One or Xbox 360 will be able to play on its servers for free until Sunday, February 19. Also on Xbox, both NBA 2K17 and Rocket League will be available for free during the free online weekend, meaning you can try out both of those games for free all this weekend.

PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live are both available for $59.99 for a year of membership regularly as well as variable monthly prices.
