No Animation Fixes Will Be Included in the Day 1 Patch of Mass Effect: Andromeda

Ian Frazier, the lead designer of Mass Effect: Andromeda responded to a tweet in regards to the day one patch for Andromeda. Mass Effect: Andromeda will not be receiving changes made to its character models and animation despite fans negative reception so far.

“At day 1? No, that ship has sailed. We’ll have more patches later on, but exactly what goes into them is still in discussion,” the tweet reads. Andromeda is currently available via early access on EA and Origin Access and some of those who have tried it have particular been disappointed with janky animations and face models. Frazier did say that there are plans to offer more skin tone options down the road, but when those will be added he did not specify.

Mass Effect: Andromeda officially releases March 21 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
