Were you a fan of the Seiken Densetsu series from the Super Famicom? If you’ve never heard of it, you might be more familiar with the western iteration, known as the Mana series.
A recent ten-second teaser of Seiken Densetsu 3 tweeted by the official Mana Twitter account showed off the game being played on the Switch. Launched in Japan on September 30, 1995 for the Super Famicom, Seiken Densetsu 3 never saw the light of day in the west, not even on the Wii, 3DS or the virtual console for the Wii U.
Seiken Densetsu 3, or better known as “Legend of the Sacred Sword”, is the sequel to Secret of Mana which was released on the SNES.
Square Enix hasn’t officially announced the Switch version, but the video is proof enough that the game will most likely show up as a Switch title, fingers crossed.
