Target Stores in the United States are Decorated for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

Start your engines for the launch of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe by visiting Target. Across the United States, over 600 stores will be decked out with various decorations in anticipation for the Nintendo Switch exclusive.

Target will display Mario and Luigi faces outside of the stores on those spherical ornaments so guests know what to expect before they even walk inside. There will even be decals of a starting line and Lakitu posts on windows. Then, grab a Mario Kart cart and race over to grab your copy of the game. There will also be Mario music playing, lights flashing and so much more. Target says shopping is more than just picking up items, it should be a fun experience whenever possible.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe features all DLC from the Wii U version along with brand new content to check out. Various characters, stages and challenges await! The game launches on April 28 but your store could be ready to celebrate right now. Take a look at some of the displays in the images below for a sneak peek and learn more about the event via Target’s official post.

Considering every time you walk in the door you hear a starting bell and Mario scream “Wahoo” I actually feel sorry for the people working there. That is going to get really old really fast.

True, but selling boat loads of high value product won’t ever get old for the store managers

I actually went in two days ago and noticed it was disabled. Everything else is still there but the noise is not.

Lol, maybe you were right. Maybe is was scaring customers away.
