EA Sports will be releasing its annual football game with Madden NFL 18 on August 25. Today, a new trailer was released showcasing some major improvements for the franchise. Target passing will be implemented into the game as Quarterbacks will be able to focus on timing. Couple this with being able to place the ball where desired and it will be the closest thing to being a real quarterback in the virtual world. The game also brings a focus to WR/DB interactions along with new aspects for blocking and tackling. Finally, coaches can provide on-the-fly adjustments such as having DB’s play the ball hoping for a turnover. This gamble can either pay huge dividends or fail miserably. EA looks to be focusing on the smaller points of football in Madden 18 thanks to the implementation of the Frostbite Engine. Check out the trailer below.
