Assassin’s Creed and Final Fantasy XV Collaboration Revealed

It was just revealed at GamesCom that Ubisoft has more than one unexpected crossover in the works for this year. Before people get too excited, there is no such game in the works combining Assassin’s Creed and Final Fantasy, but based on mutual admiration the two development teams have for each other’s work there are some smaller crossover events taking place. Starting on August 30, Final Fantasy XV players who have acquired the Dream Egg from the Moogle Chocobo Carnival event will be receive an outfit that may take away from of Noctis’s emo street cred since it is patterned after Assassin’s Creed protagonist attire, no official confirmation yet if this means will see Noctis wear white. August 31 will see the free Assassin’s Festival DLC for Final Fantasy XV where the town of Lestallum will get some new decorations and activities for players to participate in in, along with some additional themed items such as another outfit and Noctis learning how to do some of the Assassin’s tricks.
