Nintendo Has Heard Your Woes and Brings More SNES Classic

Good news, everyone! Nintendo has heard the many cries of pain and regret from fans, ultimately deciding to ship the SNES Classic through 2018, that’s right. Silence those tears, because it’s time for another round of pre-orders or fighting off other local consumers.

Not only are more units of the Super NES Classic Edition getting shipped through 2018, but more units will ship on launch day September 29 in the US than were previously shipped compared to the NES Classic Edition all last year. Nintendo will continue shipping to stores with subsequent shipments arriving regularly. Fans have caused quite an up roar over the limited amount of Classic Edition consoles, especially after Nintendo’s dead of night pre-order debacle. This should put fans at ease on getting their hands on the highly demanded SNES Classic Edition.

The Super NES Classic Edition will come with 21 Super NES games which include Super Mario World, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and Super Metroid… and Starfox 2. The SNES Classic will launch on September 29 with a suggested retail price of 79.99 USD.

The last nugget of good news is next summer when Nintendo will bring back the NES Classic Edition with new shipments, no information on when this will be released but stay tuned for future news.
