Eiyu*Senki – The World Conquest Gets a Bumpy PC Launch

Eiyu*Senki – The World Conquest first launched on PS3 in 2015. This visual novel RPG was enjoyable, but the console release had a lot of content cut. JAST USA picked up the title for PC distribution and released it last week.

The number of issues which have plagued it vary from being game-breaking to just annoyances. An early issue, quickly resolved, didn’t allow the game to boot at all. Others swapped uncensored and censored sprites in a few key spots for the wrong players.

It looks like things are finally settling down now. Folks can pick up Eiyu*Senki – The World Conquest via Steam or directly from JAST USA. The direct option is the uncensored game, while Steam users will need to buy a patch for $5.99. The base game is currently discounted to $23.99 on Steam.
