




One-man game company Spiderweb Software has finally released Avernum 6. PC gamers can now enjoy the last entry in the long-running series. Ignore the fact that the game has actually already been out on the Mac for some time now.

Well, this is a surprise. The ages-old game Myst Online has been resurrected, this time as an open-source release. To celebrate, the devs from Cyan Worlds will be holding an "online block party" during the start of March.

...This is so screwed up. Australian newspapers are reporting that game developer Interzone’s management have fled the country, attempting to dodge over a million dollars in owed taxes and several hundred thousand more in unpaid wages. Adding insult to injury, they’re now reported to have attempted to run off with the assets and code for the company’s still-unfinished soccer game.

Chris Taylor and Gas Powered Games are coming back again for yet another RTS game. Titled Kings and Castles, the game will be traced throughout development with a series of video blogs, with the first entry warning of "graphic scenes" of wood chopping, chicken feeding, and horse biting. ...Yeah, really.
