It appears that Operation Rainfall — the fan-based campaign seeking to convince Nintendo of America to stop pretending hardcore gamers don’t exist — has been successful once again.
Nintendo announced today in a conference that The Last Story, a previously JP- and PAL-only RPG developed my Mistwalker, would be releasing in America later this year.
But don’t thank Nintendo of America quite yet. While they announced earlier this year that they would be publishing Xenoblade in America themselves (one of the other “Rainfall Three”), The Last Story’s localization will instead be handled by XSeed, who is quite possibly one of the most American-friendly publishers ever.
XSeed, you have our thanks. Like, a whole lotta’em.
