Jet Set Radio Grinding its Way to XBL & PSN

One of the Sega Dreamcast’s flagship titles was a rollerblading game by the name of Jet Set Radio (titled Jet Grind Radio in North America). It looked very stylish with its cel shading technique while having a solid soundtrack and graffiti-tagging gameplay.

Sega released a small teaser on their YouTube of their next Dreamcast post for the Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network libraries. Thanks to the song and the notable symbol at the end, it’s safe to say that Jet Set Radio will be returning.

For those who might not be aware, Jet Set Radio follows a gang of young rollerblading delinquents in Tokyo, Japan roaming the city and spraying the streets with their own marks while dealing with rival gangs and the law enforcement.

No details regarding the port on the current consoles have been released such as frame rate increase nor even a release date. Whenever it gets released and if it gets good reviews, I hope they can revive the much superior Jet Set Radio Future released only on the first Xbox.
