EA revealed in their conference the next entry in the long-running Need for Speed series, titled “Most Wanted,” sharing its name with a NFS released a mere 7 years ago in 2005. This time around, Most Wanted is developed by Criterion, the studio behind the much-loved Burnout series.
Most Wanted will be open world with a competitive multiplayer focus — your goal is to become, as the title suggests, the “most wanted” driver on the internets. You do this by fulfilling various challenges, breaking laws, and just outright being a bully to police officers.
Most Wanted will feature real-life cars, which will surprisingly exhibit damage (unlike most licensed-car games). It’s not quite to Burnout’s degree of destruction, but it’s there nonetheless.
Most Wanted will hit virtually every console imaginable this coming October 30th.
