During Capcom’s first ever Gamescom press conference, the Japanese giant has announced a brand new intelectual property under the name Remember Me. If you remember (pun intended) back in May, a trademark for the game was found by a number of people, but after E3, most onlookers passed it off as some handheld or mobile game. Fortunately, that isn’t the case as Remember Me is scheduled for release on 360, Playstation 3 and Windows in May of 2013 (a rather crowded time, if you ask me).
Remember Me is a third-person action adventure title that revolves around Nilin, a former elite memory hunter that has the ability to break into people’s minds and steal or alter memories. Definitely an Inception-vibe going on here. After a conflict with the law, Nilin goes on a bloody mission to recover her identity after her memories were wiped. Remember Me is developed by DONTNOD Entertainment and will take place in a near future 2084 Neo-Paris setting.
