Steam’s Big Picture Mode Goes Into Beta Today

For around a year now (although it has quietly been going on for longer), PC fans have been begging for a Steam client that can boot into a full-screen mode, as many have started to hook their systems up to big screen televisions. Plead no longer as Valve will be releasing a beta to their Steam Big Picture mode that will feature a brand new user interface, accessible from the comfort of your couch.

The new mode will allow users to access their content easily through any third party controller, even displaying their respective buttons, or if you have flat surface in your living room, the traditional keyboard and mouse means are still acceptable. For more on this new mode for Steam users, watch the instructive video below. Valve has the reputable service, constant sales and the accessible interface; all they need now is their own console.
