Do you want a Wii U Deluxe, but would prefer to buy it in a Grocery Store setting? You’re in luck as Walmart is opening up pre-orders for the hotly-anticpated console beginning October 14th. As this is no ordinary store, this is no ordinary pre-order. Reserves will happen via Walmart’s lawaway system. If you weren’t alive in the ’80s, layaway means that you put a product aside and make payments on it until fully paid, ensuring the item you want is not sold out. It’s the best way to buy items you don’t need if you have poor credit and no money.
Even though the item on lawaway doesn’t exist yet, you’ll still have to follow the rules: $5 non-refundable service fee and 10% down, meaning the console will set you back $40 to reserve.
If all other options have been exhausted and you’re desperate enough to go to Walmart at midnight for what could be this year’s hottest Christmas item, rethink if you want one that bad. Still do? Good. Just call us to let us know you’re alright.
