The latest installment of the BlazeBlue series, BlazeBlue: Chrono Phantasma, is set to be released in arcades this winter. Developed by Arc System works, the game will feature new stages, game mechanics and music. Additionally, sprites have been redrawn and character balanced refined. Famitsu has released the intro to the game, which we’ve posted below. While the cinematic is pretty standard, intensely showing off the various characters mixed with gameplay snippets, it’s a nice taste of the upcoming title.
In other news, fan favorite characters Mu-12 and Nu-12 were confirmed to be playable in the game. As they were (spoiler alert) oblierated in previous entries, they’ll likely show up as bonus characters. Check out the opening cinematic and a famitsu scan showing off the Mu/Nus below.
No release date yet, but as Aksys controls the localization, there’s a safe bet it makes its way over here. After all, they gave us Castle of Shikigami III.
