Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel “Lethal Cartel” Trailer Amps Up The Ridiculousness

Army of Two is somewhat of an unlikely franchise. After the original launched with a decidely mixed reception, it was followed by a sequel two years later that proved to be just about as equally average. Content to not let the IP die, EA will be releasing a third game in the series dubbed “Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel” on March 26th, 2013. Unfortunately for them, this is now the same day Bioshock Infinite comes out. Any bets for a quick week or two bump in the release date?

All said, though, the trailer is actually very entertaining. It seems to have ditched whatever seriousness the series carried and has become pretty ridiculous. New characters “Alpha and Bravo” also seem to have good chemistry, making some legitimately humorous quips throughout the trailer. Plus, seeing multiple Gurka LAPVs barreling through the drug-infested streets of Mexico is always an awesome site.
