Assassin’s Creed III has broken records at Ubisoft today as the company has announced that it has sold over seven million copies worldwide in just over a month. Not only has this shattered series expectations but Ubisoft’s sales records, as well. We all knew Assassin’s Creed was one of Ubisoft’s most significant franchises, banking the company millions over the past five years, but I doubt anyone could have predicted sales such as this.
It would seem as if international sales matched American sales as it was reported through NPD that the game sold over 3.5 million in the United States alone last month. These are impressive figures to say the least, but don’t expect them to slow down anytime soon with the holidays coming up.
