Resident Evil 6 Hits PC on March 22nd

Capcom is embracing the PC market, and the Steam network even more, as the Japanese giant has confirmed today that Resident Evil 6 will be available on March 22, 2013. This marks nearly a six month separation between the console version and the PC version, something many games hope Capcom will shorten in future releases. Similar to their recently announced DmC PC specs, Resident Evil 6’s digital version will include Steam capabilities such as cloud saves, steam achievements, friends support, game overlay and leaderboards.

Both the digital and retail versions of Resident Evil 6 for PC includes all existing and upcoming title updates, such as the one that will be made available on January 22nd for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 owners. Unlike DmC, though, Capcom recommends Nvidia hardware over AMD:
