Best Multiplayer

Halo 4
This category was difficult to choose a winner for, mainly because each game has incredibly ambitious multiplayer gameplay. Ultimately, though, we found ourselves sinking more hours into Halo 4’s competitive and cooperative multiplayer modes over anything else this year. While it hasn’t drastically changed over past iterations, it still retains the feeling of satisfaction when shooting down a Banshee or jumping into the newly added Mantis mech suit. Even with a much improved single player campaign, it’s the multiplayer that will have players logging in an ungodly amount of hours, and for good reason: it’s an experience worth having.
