Episode four of The Final Hours of Tomb Raider, the well produced behind the scenes video series with Zachary Levi, has finally been released, this time showcasing the newly added multiplayer components. This is the first time any form of competitive multiplayer will be implemented into a Tomb Raider game, something many may question at first.
Instead of being developed internally at Crystal Dynamics, Eidos Montreal will be taking up the challenge. These new modes will allow players to group together and try to accomplish different tasks while fighting another team. It seems very similar to Uncharted 3’s multiplayer, just with more bow and arrow action. There are still two more episode scheduled to be released, more than likely corresponding with the game’s release in the next two months, detailing additional features and elements of the reboot.
