There’s a certain charm to low-budget, Japanese games that involve killing hordes of creatures to the dirge of lamenting extraterrestrials. Starting today, you can appease that little voice which tells you to crave alien-blood by purchasing Earth Defense Force 2017 Portable for Playstation Vita. 2017 Portable is a port of the Xbox 360 game released back in 2007, and includes new missions, enemies, playable characters and multiplayer modes equipped for both co-op and competitive gamers.
Here’s the kicker, though: if the game is bought before February 4, it will include four DLC weapons fo’ free. After that date, each will cost $0.99 to download. If you’ve made room for this one in your budget, you might as well pick it up now to save the extra four bones.
Earth Defense Force 2017 Portable is available only on PSN and retails for $39.99. Time to break out the ol’ Vita and make it useful again.
