By now, it’s common knowledge that the former 3DS exclusive, Resident Evil Revelations, is making its way to HD consoles. Though details have been relatively sparse up and to now, we received further confirmation about the game’s release in a rather unsuspecting way. Revelations’ achievements were leaked today, and are currently viewable over at Xbox 360 Achievements. From the list, fans can see and get a sense of what all the game will entail, and also maybe what it won’t. There aren’t achievements that indicate anything out of the ordinary, so don’t go searching for some earth-shattering spoiler hidden deep within the descriptions of those coveted accomplishments. Regardless, for those who like this sort of thing, it’s certainly worth a look-see.
While the 360 achievements are the only ones available at this time, the game is scheduled for a PS3 release as well. Hell, there might even be a PC port in the works, at least that’s what Capcom’s Christian Svensson seemingly implied when answering a question about the subject: “As you know, nothing I can say on such a topic, but you know I’m a PC fan. We’ll see what the future holds.”
So, there it is. With Revelations HD on the horizon, we can all go back to focusing on good Resident Evil games, and subsequently forget that RE6 ever happened.
