Resident Evil: Revelations Zombie-Walks onto Consoles This May

The industry’s worst kept secret finally gets a release date. Capcom announced today that they will be launching Resident Evil: Revelations for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U on May 21. In conjunction with these full retail releases, the game will also be available digitally on the PS3 and PC the same day, with downloadable versions for 360 and Wii U to follow shortly thereafter. Whether or not you pick up the physical or digital copy, the game will touch down at the price point of $49.99.

Just a reminder, Resident Evil: Revelations originally launched on the 3DS last year. Aside from being an excellent RE title, it was also just a solid game overall. It certainly makes up for everything Resident Evil 6 did wrong. For $10 less than the standard pricing, this certainly seems like a steal-and-a-half. Passing up on the first, true survival horror entry in the Resident Evil franchise in almost a decade would be criminally offensive — so don’t do it.
