Along with the Final Fantasy sale, tomorrow PS Store update will bring with it some savings on Namco Bandai games. The PS3 will see Ridge Racer 7’s 3D version cost $10, while Namco Museum Essentials drops to $5, Noby Noby Noby will cost $2.50, and One Piece: Pirate Warriors goes down to $25. The Vita will see Ridge Racer and Touch My Katamari drop to $12.50, while the PSP sees Tekken 6, SoulCalibur: Broken Destiny, and Naruto Shippuden go down to $20. Ace Combat: Assault Horizon’s DLC sale sees stuff go from $2 to $7.50, while the Atorias of the Abyss DLC for Dark Souls and the DLC pack for Pirate Warriors will also cost $7.50.
This is far from the greatest sale ever offered on the PS Store, but Touch My Katamari is definitely worth $12.50, while Namco Museum Essentials is a tempting impulse buy at $5 and Ridge Racer 7 at $10 is acceptable. It’s surprising that Ridge Racer Unbounded isn’t included in this sale, or the PSP version of Ridge Racer, but understandable as it’s a far better game than the Vita version, with more content and still looks fairly good for a portable Ridge Racer experience despite its age. R4 has also aged marvelously despite being a PS1 game and sadly isn’t included in this sale either. There’s some definite room for improvement with this sale, but there are a few deals here to be had if you like touching katamaris, playing a current-gen Ridge Racer, or experiencing some Namco classics.
