NIS America’s San Fran Event Brings Three Game Announcements

At Thursday’s annual press event in downtown San Francisco, NIS America announced Disgaea Dimension 2: A Brighter Darkness, The Guided Fate Paradox, and Time and Eternity. The first two games are coming in the fall, while T&E is arriving a bit earlier as a summer release. DD2 delivers more of the same strategy RPG gameplay mixed with wacky comedy that series fans expect, while The Guided Fate is also an SRPG, but with a more serious tone. Or at least as serious as a game can get for having machine gun-wielding octopus-legged mechs.

Time and Eternity is more of a traditional JRPG, but with an anime look to the game evoking Ni No Kuni instantly when you first see it. It involves a wedding being broken up and a love triangle involving beautiful women. All of them look like they’ll be very enjoyable to play, with TaE’s visuals being the most striking of all of them, GTF having the most bizarre character designs, and Disgaea’s next entry delivering more of what makes that series so fun.
