First announced way back in 2011, Final Fantasy X’s HD remake is getting a whole lot better with the addition of its direct sequel, Final Fantasy X-2. It was recently reported through the ever popular Jump magazine in Japan that Final Fantasy X-2 would be packed in with the Playstation 3 copy of FFX, and a standalone Vita version coming, as well. Square Enix America has gone ahead and confirmed this, also releasing a handful of screenshots for FFX and uploading an official website.
Square has also told us to stay tuned for March 25 as they are planning to showcase a trailer. No release date has been announced, but Amazon already has pre-orders up for the game, listing it at a reduced price of $39.99. I don’t know about you, but remastering two big RPGs such as these and only charging twenty dollars a pop for them seems like a steal. Stay tuned for more details in the near future.
