Steam’s deal of the day starts off the week with a substantial 30% savings on Super House of Dead Ninjas, taking the normally $10 game down to $7. and The 16-bit styled (as the super moniker would indicate) ninja action platformer has been quite well-received. I wonder if we’ll ever get to the point where N64-style blurry graphics are considered nostalgiac and there’s an entire sub-genre of gaming devoted to recreating the past. The game gives you 180 stages to play though, and if those aren’t enough for you, there’s even a levil editor. Players are also gable to customize their ninja, and online competition helps meld the past with the present. With a metascore of 82, it seems like this is a safe way to spend $7 on Steam and not wind up with buyer’s remorse afterwards.
