It’s not that I’m complaining, but it looks like August is getting a little too crowded. Tales of Xillia, Saints Row IV, Splinter Cell Blacklist, Lost Planet 3, Pikmin 3, Disney Infinity and now Dragon’s Crown, who needs the Fall season when August seems to have it all. Atlus PR Manager, John Hardin, has revealed today that the upcoming 2D action title will be heading to the Playstation 3 and Playstation Vita on August 6.
Vanillaware is best known for their work on Odin Sphere and Muramasa: The Demon Blade, and along with their experience, they will be bringing their absolutely gorgeous art style with them. Dragon’s Crown will feature Golden Axe inspired gameplay, six playable characters, each with their own unique abilities, and cross save compability between the two Playstation devices. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like a cross-buy option will be available, but regardless, this should brighten up both the PS3 and Vita.
