World of Warcraft Subscription Loses Six-Hundred Thousand Subscribers

It seems like the unstoppable juggernaut that is World Of Warcraft may just be showing signs of slowing down as Activision Blizzard revealed that the game had lost 600,000 subscribers in the latest quarter of 2013 continuing the plummeting of subscribers leaving the game. Having started the year with just on over ten million, since the release of the Mists of Pandaria , World of Warcraft has gone to having just 7,700,000 subscribers in a manner of months representing a worrying future for the game. Considering just how much of a cash cow the franchise has been, it looks like increased completion, many complaints from the fan base about the difficulty of the game being eased down and continuous expensive DLC may finally be leading t0 the death of the game that has seemingly dominated MMORPGs over the past decade. It remains interesting to see whether the game will bounce back from this or if this is the start of the end for the game.
