Series Creator Keiichiro Toyama Teasing New Siren

Keiichiro Toyama is pretty great. Not only did he create Silent Hill, but he left to produce the similarly great, but criminally underrated Siren. And what did he do after that? Designed one of the most original Vita games to date, Gravity Rush. It looks like the famed developer is looking to come back to the Siren series, as evidenced by a series of tweets with the hashtag “#SIREN2013” this weekend.

The tweets have predominately been pictures of Tokyo Game Show 2003 (where the original was revealed), leading to speculation that Toyama is feeling nostalgic for the series and is ready to come back.

The series has been dormant since 2008, when Siren: Blood Curse was released. We’ll keep an eye on his twitter and see if he goes any further with the idea.
