Even though the game was just released in 2009 (2010 in North America), Atelier Rorona will be getting a remake. Japanese blog esuteru is reporting that the game will be released this November in Japan for PS3 and (for the first time) PS Vita. This is not a simple PSN port, but a full-fledged remake. The models have been changed substantially, from head to toe, new characters and costumes have been added and Cross Save will be supported. There will also be new events and the debut of a cultivation system.
It’s unknown whether or not the game will get a digital release (although it seems likely), but there will be a limited edition physical edition for both version, including a mini crystal paperweight and controller/console skins. NISA, we’re looking at you.
