Borderlands 2 Coming to the Playstation Vita

Borderlands 2? On the Vita? This was easily the most surprising announcement made during Sony’s Press Conference at this year’s Gamescom, and we couldn’t be happier about it. Iron Galaxy Studios (the developer behind “Divekick”) has been given the task of porting it to the portable system, and Sony will be publishing the game.

This is great news for those who haven’t had the chance to play all of the DLC and also might spur some extra Vita sales. There’s no telling when the port will release, but if they sell Borderlands 2 with all of it’s DLC for the Vita for around $60, I’d buy it as soon as I could. Then again, that’s assuming that the transition to a portable device doesn’t mar the experience that is Borderlands 2.
